Training - Fire Marshal

Introduction

This course aims to give learners basic knowledge and understanding in fire marshalling, identifying and reporting fire hazards and risks, and fire prevention. The target audience is aimed at those working in the construction or utilities sector including suppliers and contractors.

SAFE PRACTICE

It is the responsibility of the centre, in consultation with the trainer and assessor, to ensure that risk assessments have been carried out. During this training you must take account of the relevant worksite operational requirements, procedures and safe working practices.


DURATION AND COURSE RATIO

1-day training/refresher. Trainer/delegate 1:8 Practical assessment (30 minutes). Knowledge Assessment(30 minuites)

ACCREDITATION

Upon successful achievement learners will be issued with a Smart Awards certificate valid for 3 years.


ASSESSMENT

The assessment will test the learners knowledge and skills in fire marshalling,identifying and reporting fire hazards and risks and fire prevention.
